Dr. Slick Hair Stackers - These are used to stack hair or other materials to even lengths. We stock 3 series of stackers by Dr. Slick which will cover the application of most stackable materials. Each series is offered in Brass, T6 Aluminum and Stainless steel.
Dr. Slick Half Hitch Tool Set. These are offered in 2 finishes, Brass and Satin. Each set includes 2 half hitch tools in different sizes that will cover hooks from size #8 to #22
Dr. Slick Rotary Hackle Pliers. These hackle pliers have rubber tubing on one side to provide a tight grip on fly tying materials. These rotary hackle pliers are offered in 2 sizes - 2 inch, small and 4 inch, large and in 2 different finishes - Brass and Stainless Steel. I find this type of hackle pliers to be very helpful when tying parachute style dry flies and for wrapping biot and quill bodies.
Bobbins are the critical tool in fly tying. These bobbins are designed to keep a super smooth tension on the thread. These bobbins have derlin feet to keep a good grip on the thread spool and dual Titanium funnel inserts to allow a smooth application of the thread to the fly. The Titanium Oxide inserts are a new generation of material that is more lubricious than ceramic. These bobbins have a raised micro pebbled or egg carton pattern on the insert that cuts down on surface tension. These bobbins are ridiculously slick!

Dr. Slick Whip Finishing Tool. These tools are the quickest way to finish off your fly and give it a professional appearanch. These tools are offered in 2 sizes. 4" and 6" and in 2 models - Brass and stainless steel. . The 4 inch model is considered the standard. This model is used in most tying situations. The 6" also commonly referred to as the extended reach model allsow you to tie off the thread in any position on the hook even on larger flies.
